The Wallick Companies was founded in 1966 by Jack L. Wallick. Following the financial collapse of his employer, a New Orleans-based contractor, Wallick and co-worker Sanford Goldston formed The Wallick Companies to uphold commitments made on their previous employers behalf. The two men not only fulfilled those commitments, but succeeded in building one of Ohio's most respected construction, management and development organizations. Today, The Wallick Companies consists of Wallick Construction Co., Wallick Properties, Inc., and Partnership Equities - a family of companies designed to meet the growing needs of the real estate industry.

Combining Mr. Wallick's talents as an engineer, builder and general contractor with Goldston's expertise as a Certified Public Accountant and financial advisor led The Wallick Companies to success. The company quickly gained expertise in the development, construction and management of affordable housing under various federal programs. This active involvement in the affordable housing industry continues today, providing construction and management services for numerous third party clients as well as for the company's own account.

In addition to affordable housing, The Wallick Companies has been active in the construction and/or management of congregate care facilities, nursing homes, market rate apartment communities, tax credit communities, high rise condominiums, retail centers, and office buildings. This diverse background has allowed the company to establish long-term relationships with investors, lenders, federal housing officials, state housing agency members, subcontractors and suppliers.

Since the death of Jack Wallick in 1995, The Wallick Companies has continued to progress with the same values and integrity with which it was founded.
